ANTI-FINANCE BILL PROTESTS IN NAIROBI

On Tuesday, mid-morning, police officers in Nairobi City were forced to lob teargas at demonstrators who were marching to Parliament to protest against the Finance Bill 2023.
The protest began at Jevanjee Gardens, through Nairobi CBD to Parliament.
The protestants who were carrying placards opposing the Finance Bill chanted, “Down! Down! Finance Bill!”
Police officers also arrested a number of protesters after running battles in Kenya’s capital
