“OUR AIR STRIPS SHOULD BE EXPANDED,” LAWYER SAMSON SAGWE

High court lawyer Samson Sagwe has praised leaders from Gusii counties for the unity and utmost co-operation in boosting development.
Speaking to the press, he thanks both residents and leaders for joining the president’s development plans, for Kenya.
“I give thanks to both residents from Kisii and Nyamira counties for the development you have started, I also all leaders for coming together and going to the president to ensure that there is development in the region”
He further added that the region has a lot of resources that have not yet been fully utilized by the government.
“We need more road construction, our soapstone carvings should get an industry, avocados need a market, sugarcanes from South Mugirango should get an industry and also banana industries be increased because we have a lot of bananas in this region”, he added.
According to Samson, the government should expand air strips in the region and also expand the university in Nyamira County.
“Our air strips like the one in Suneka should be expanded for more airplanes to land and carry our agricultural products take them to sell abroad and this will bring more profits to the farmers and our counties at large”.
He added by saying that the air strips in Kiendege and Nyangoso should be made and this will help most of the people who would like to travel.
“Also the university in Nyamira County should be expanded well because there is enough land for expansion and this will help in education growth”.
Samson concluded by urging all the elders from Kisii region to talk to the president of Kenya Dr. William R to help in all that they have pleaded for and this will help in growth of the region.
