Is this the Coach Bela Guttmann’s Curse?

Despite leading the Lions to three National Football League Championships, Coach Bobby Layne was traded by Detroit to the Pittsburgh steelers after eight years. Bobby Layne’s parting gift was the proclamation that his formerr team shall not win another championship for half a century. FIFA World’s Cup and the UEFA European Championships are expected to be won by England as it harbours the nifty players. At Wembley Stadium in 1953, the Hungarian national team famously outwitted England six goals to three. This is the first- ever home defeat of England at home by a non-British team.

Legendary players including, not limited to: Cristiano Ronaldo, David Robert Joseph Beckham, Eric Cantona and George Best have worn number seven jersey in Manchester United. Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009, the players who have worn the number seven t-shirt have struggled to succeed in the team. The teams that have won the FIFA World’s Cup have failed to maintain it in the next season. Spain won in 2010 but disappointed pundits when they were eliminated in the groups’ stage. While celebrating ecstatically and exuberantly the Hanshin Tigers in 1985 win of the Japan Championships series; fanatics of the baseball team allegedly dumped a statue of Sir Colonel Sanders, the KFC’s mastermind, into the river. The Tigers then played last in the league ten times between the fateful year and 2003. Is this the Sir Colonel Sanders’ curse?
