The Shorter The Cookie, The More Dulcet The Cookie:

Like an evergreen that lingers beyond seasons, does one’s presence on the stage endure?
Does the rose, refusing to wilt, teach and train us the art of staying relevant?
As the oak stands rooted, does the performer find strength in persistence?

Does the lioness, commanding the savannah, overstay her reign?
Can the hummingbird’s fleeting dance be a lesson in timing and grace?
In the fox’s cunning, do we learn the strategy of captivating an audience?

Does the aquatic berth, meandering endlessly, whisper tales of continuity?
Like the tide that returns faithfully, does the artist’s encore resonate?
In the calm of a lake’s surface, does patience reveal the secrets of longevity?

Does the star linger in the night sky, or is it the comet’s brief brilliance that captivates?
Amidst constellations that endure, does each performance etch a new constellation in memory?
Does the eclipse, fleeting yet profound, mirror the impact of a well-timed exit?

In the orbit of Mercury’s speed, do we find the pace of engagement?
Does Saturn’s steady rotation remind us of the artist’s enduring presence?
Like Venus in the evening sky, does charisma illuminate the stage?

Is the curtain call a symbolic sunset or a dawn for encore?
In the encore’s echo, does the encore become an epic sequel?
Like the masquerade’s mask, does the stage persona outlast the performance?

In the theater of life, the actor/ actress takes his/her bow,
Yet echoes of applause linger on, somehow;
The stage, a world where time stands still;
And memories, like ivy, climb with skill.

As the spotlight holds its breath, the performer steps forth,
Their presence, a sonnet of words and deeds, worth.
Do they overstay, like the morning sun’s tender kiss; or gracefully exit, leaving nostalgia in the mist?

A fish gets rotten after three days.

Once the orange is overripe, it needs to exit the stage for others more budding ones to reign and benefit incalculably the ecosystem.

The ideal sermon is the cookie: its remembrance and sweetness peg on its shortness.

The creme dela creme actors and actresses exit the stage when still the cream of creation.

The ideal sermon is the lady’s skirt: short enough to arouse interest, long enough to cover everything.
