We will Protest, Kisii university Students vow

Kisii university students union has decided to protest just in case their cry on tarmacking of the promised road won’t be considered.

On monday morning, Kisii university student leaders led by their chairperson Sananka spoke to the media, “It has been 4 years since the promise of tarmacking the ICT road was placed. The road was to be tarmacked which could impact the movement of the administration block and the main gate to this premises of ICT, the street lights cant be placed too due to lack of a well-tarmacked road.”

Seconded by his secretary-general, It was clear that the students were to protest today towards the office of the engineer who was given the green light to execute the mandate but failed.

The protest was halted due to the Azimio rally taking place in Kisii, “We have halted the protest due to the Azimio leader Raila attending a function in Kisii, and because we respect him, we won’t distract peace but will carry on with the protests just incase the engineer fails to execute the duties assigned concerning the road. we are now giving him an ultimatum of one week ,” The secretary-general said.

Kisii university students have been struggling to make their way to classes due to the poor state of the mentioned road hence slowing down the activities of the university.
