THE KENYA NATIONAL KCSE EXAMINATIONS OFFICIALLY RELEASED

Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu has today officially released the 2022 KCSE examinations where a total number of candidates who sat for the exam being 884,263.

Speaking from Mitihani House in Nairobi, Machogu said,“There is an improvement of 17 subjects in 2022 compared to the 11 subjects that were improved in the past year 2021. The number of students who attained a mean grade of E declined significantly to 30,822 compared to 46,181 in 2021 despite the increase in candidates last year.”

According to the CS, the remaining students who didn’t attain a minimum grade of C+ which is a pass to university are capable of joining different TVET schools, teachers training colleges and other tertiary learning institutions for various courses.

“There were 190 students with special needs who had a minimum of C+ and above that is 8.80% in 2022 KCSE examination.

Candidates will collect their results from their respective examination centres and for the individual results you can access by sending the word KCSE then candidates’ index to 20076.
