Ruto Unveils Sh5 Billion Boost for County Livestock in Arid and semi arid Areas

President William Ruto has just announced a major boost for families living in Kenya’s ASAL area unveiling a Sh5 billion county livestock program meant to support pastoral this communities and help them keep their livelihoods strong despite harsh conditions.He mentioned rhus during the Madaraka celebrations speech in Wajir county.

In the executive plan In phase one , the initiative will improve livelihoods of more than 2 million members., Ruto confirmed he has already directed the ministry of Agriculture in partnership with counties to begin registration of these companies in 21 ASAL counties
This initiative is expected to bring targeted support to counties, helping communities improve livestock productivity, strengthen resilience, and better manage the challenges that come with drspells
