PRESIDENT WILLIAM SAMOEI RUTO UNVEILS HIS CABINET

The Republic of Kenya president His Excellency William Ruto named the cabinet he will work with during his tenure in office.
Speaking from State House, Nairobi on Tuesday 27th, as president Ruto spelled out the roles of his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and Prime Cabinet Minister appointee Musalia Mudavadi he named his cabinet ministers.
The president appointed the following as cabinet ministers:
1. Replacing the outgoing cabinet minister Fred Matiang’i in the Interior and National administration Ministry was Profesa Abraham Kithure Kindiki
2. Former majority leader under the Jubilee government Aden Bare Duale took the ministry of defense.
3. The ministry of National treasury and planning was given to Professor Njuguna Ndung’u
4. Ministry of Public service gender and affirmative action to Aisha Jumwa Katana.
5. Ministry of water, sanitation, and irrigation to Alice Muthoni Wahome.
6. Former Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua was named as a Minister for Foreign and Diaspora affairs.
7. Ministry for Trade, investment, and industry was given to former Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria.
8. Rebbeca Miano appointed as Minister for East Africa community, arid and semi-arid lands regional development.
9. The ministry of Roads, Transport and Public Works, to Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen.
10. Ministry of Environment and Forestry to Roselinda Soipan Tuya.
11. Ministry for lands, Housing, and Urban Development, to Zacharia Mwangi Njeru
12. Ministry for Tourism, wildlife and Heritage – Peninnah Malonza.
13. Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Livestock Development – Frankline Mithika Linturi.
14. Ministry of Health – Susan Nakumicha Wafula.
15. Ministry of Information, Communication, and Digital economy – Eliud Owalo
16. Ministry of Education to former Nyaribari Masaba Member of Parliament Ezekiel Machogu Ombaki
17. Ministry of Energy and Petroleum – Davis Chirchir.
18. Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts to Ababu Namwamba.
19. Ministry of cooperatives and Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Development – Simon Chelugui.
20. Ministry of Mining, Blue economy and Maritime Affairs – Salim Mvurya
21. Minister for Labour and Social Protection to Florence Boore
The president also appointed:
1. Harriet Chigai to head as the Advisor on Women’s rights Agency.
2. Monica Juma as Advisor of National Security.
3. Attorney General to the former speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi.
4. Secretary to the Cabinet to Mercy Wanjau.
