KISII: SELF DEPENDENCE AMONG WOMEN

Women Development Fund Members from Nyansira village, Nyaribari Chache in Kisii County, received agricultural teachings on 25th June, 2023.
“I have chosen to be a member in our Women Development Fund so that I can be self-dependent and even support young women in our village. We had visitors from Eldoret, who have taught us on how to participate in vegetable farming,” said Norah Mosinya,member.
Led by Hellen Oyugi, the Chairlady, the group members have prepared nursery seed beds, which will boost their vegetable farming.
“We have began seed beds and we want to prosper even further by teaching other women on how to be self-dependent, through agriculture,” said Hellen.
The members also asked Kisii County Government to support them so that they can develop themselves further.
