Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that the Azimio la Umoja Coalition is ready to take part in bipartisan talks with Kenya Kwanza, if only the talks are in good faith.
Speaking in a church service in Machakos County on Sunday, the Azimio co-principal said they were committed to the talks, but the Kenya Kwanza team was hiding something.
Kalonzo speaks this following a decision by Azimio to suspend bipartisan talks, on grounds that government failed to meet its demands.
At the church service, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti said the Finance Bill has to undergo proper public participation as government should find more ways to help its people.
“We are waiting for the direction from you Kalonzo because you are our leader,” she added.
The Bipartisan talks aimed at resolving differences between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio Coalitions were suspended indefinitely, after the government failed to meet the opposition demands.
