Kisii county Governor Simba Arati on Wednesday 28th officially laid a foundation stone for the construction of an ultramodern county headquarters.
Speaking during the event Arati noted that the mega project will provide a modern and efficient space for county officials to work and serve the community well.
“We also intend to incorporate breastfeeding rooms, a smart bank, Huduma center for the comfort for all the staff” Arati said.
In order to provide services for Kenyans, the governor urged residents to be patient for one more year, promising to finish all unfinished projects as well as putting in place a new work set up that will ensure there is transparency from the engineers and contractors.
“The project will greatly improve the access to government services to the residents, the project manager to work closely with the contractors so as to deliver the block as soon as possible”.
The project is to be completed within 24 months of proper construction as Arati urges contractors to make sure they are doing fantastic work or else they resign as earlier as now.
