Kenyan football giants Gor Mahia FC has appointed German Andreas Spier as head couch.
At the same time Michael Nam has been announce as his assistant on 6-month contract.
“Welcome to Gor Mahia head coach Andreas Spier and Assistant coach Michael Nam,” the club wrote on its twitter account.
The duo are replacing Mark Harrison and Sammy Omolo who were thrown out of the club.
The former Harambee Stars defender was relieved of his duties alongside coach Mark Harrison after a 3-0 loss to Posta Rangers in the FKF Premier League.
“As a club, we have made a decision to part ways with coach Mark Harrison, Assistant coach Sammy Omollo and goalkeeper trainer Jerim Onyango,” they said.
The club has confirmed Boniface Oluoch as their new goalkeeper trainer on interim basis and awarded Philemon Otieno the captaincy crown being assited by Sammy Onyango.
