Chairs flying,Tempers Rising; Chaos Erupts at Narok County Assembly

Tension turned into drama at the Narok County Assembly after MCAs exchanged blows during a heated debate inside the chamber. What began as a disagreement over a motion to remove Finance CECM David Ole Muntet quickly became chaotic as angry members shouted at each other, pushed one another, and even fought openly.
The assembly session was interrupted as rival groups of MCAs clashed over leadership disagreements and claims of betrayal. Some leaders accused their colleagues of changing positions at the last minute, making the atmosphere more tense. The situation became so bad that security officers had to step in to calm things down.
Speaker Davis Ole Dikir was forced to leave the chamber under heavy security as the chaos continued. Other MCAs and members of the public watched in shock as the assembly, meant for debate and leadership, turned into a scene of confusion and anger.
The fight has now sparked reactions from Kenyans online, with many saying leaders should solve their differences peacefully instead of turning assembly sessions into physical battles. Even after the drama, the political tensions in Narok County are still far from over.
