ANOTHER LIFELESS BODY DISCOVERED IN KISII

Residents of Mwabene – Iranda village, Kitutu Chache South were left murmuring after a 40-year-old man was found dead, on Wednesday morning.
According to a local resident, this marks the fifth occasion where a body has been found in their community, thus leaving residents unsettled, with fear and questions which have not yet been answered.
“The time I have lived here has been peaceful until two years ago we found a body along the way which left us wondering who was involved, since then this is the fourth time a body has been found here, we are astonished what is happening in our village, he narrated
The deceased has been identified as Samson Oyako Omwoyo hailing from Nyakeogiro village, rising alarm for insecurity in the area.
Local authorities, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, are working diligently to unravel the mystery surrounding these unsettling occurrences.
“I was informed this morning that a body has been found at Riamochache water source, and in the recent past bodies have been discovered here instilling fear to residents. This has over-flown to school going children,” said Iranda Sub-Location assistant chief Charles Nyaoso.
The residents’ resilience in the face of this unsettling pattern serves as a testament to their determination to seek justice and ensure the safety of their village.
Residents now look upon the police to shed light on the circumstances leading to Samson Oyako Omwoyo’s tragic demise and determine whether any foul play was involved.
“We suspect that the body was dumped here since we don’t know where he hails from, we are now asking the government to assure us of safety and if possible, a police post and officers should be installed here to root out those involved in the killings,” residents asked.
As the investigation unfolds, the people of Mwabene Iranda can only hope for answers that will bring closure to these disturbing events and help restore a sense of security to their close-knit community.
