Ex Mathioya MP Francis Githiari arrested in shs 6.4 million Ngong land fraud

Detectives have arrested former Mathioya MP Francis Njakwe Githiari for allegedly defrauding an unsuspecting couple of KSh 6.4 million in a land fraud scheme.

The couple entered into an agreement with Githiari for the purchase of a parcel of land in Ngong and the development of a double-storey house.

The couple deposited KSh 6.4 million into Githiari’s account as part of the payment. Thereafter,a lot of claims of ownership issues regarding the land emerged as tensions began.

The investigation implicated Githiari for illegally obtaining the funds, leading to his arrest at his house in Karen.
