Woman Found Dead After Room Attendant Sounds Alarm in Kisumu

Inspectors in Kisumu are investigating the death of a woman found in a guest room at a bar in Obunga.
The incident was reported on Monday when a room attendant discovered the woman unresponsive during cleaning. Police say the attendant found her lying naked on the floor of a room and quickly raised an alarm.
Police visited the scene and found the body with no visible physical injuries. Later noticed foam coming from the woman’s mouth and nose, which led them to dig deeper.
Crime scene officers documented the scene before the body was taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital to be examined for a post-mortem. At the moment, the cause of death is still unknown and will be confirmed after the results of the examination and further investigations.
