Nairobi: Warrant of Arrest has been issued for Jimi Wanjigi and his wife Irene Nzisa

There is an arrest warrant out for businessman Jimi Wanjigi out of Nairobi for suspected criminal conspiracy and title deed fraud.
Wanjigi’s wife, Irene Nzisa Wanjigu, as well as Himanshu Velji Dodhia, Kaneez Noorani, Mohamed Hussein Noorani, Mohamed Hussanali, Kairu Augustine Thuo, and John Nyanjua Njenga were all included in the arrest warrant.
Forgery of a title deed for land registered as IR.65800 LR.N0.1870/11/200 deed plan No.175145 under the name of Horizon Hills Limited was committed on various dates between 9th April 2010 and 5th June 2018 at an unknown location within the Republic of Kenya, along with others not before court, according to court papers.
Wanjigi and his co-accused have now been summoned to appear in court on Monday, November 5, by Magistrate Bernard Ochoi.
Armed police invaded the businessman’s offices in Nairobi’s Westlands neighborhood on General Mathenge Drive.
On Monday night, at 9.30pm, an unknown number of cops came to the Kwacha Group of Companies headquarters.
Security cameras captured images of a group of armed cops standing outside Wanjigi’s main gate, apparently ready to gain in.
Since then, Wanjigi has laid the responsibility for the raid on President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga on Wanjigi.
It was Wanjigi’s political position and his criticism of Raila Odinga’s dishonesty over the weekend that caused the incident, he told Citizen Digital in an exclusive interview after the nighttime operation.
There is a good chance that they have some idea of what type of campaign I am about to launch based on my comments over the weekend. It seems that several of my friends are finding his recent declarations regarding different personalities disconcerting,” he remarked.
To suppress political opponents, Wanjigi accused the Head of State of breaking the Constitution.
“Why do they seem so apprehensive about my candidacy?” Why…? He struck a stance.
“It’s time for them to simply say it. Uhuru Kenyatta simply come out and say it. It’s heartbreaking to think that Wanjigi’s buddy Raila, Raila Amolo Odinga, whom Wanjigi almost murdered for, is sitting with Uhuru someplace and watching this performance.
