MERU SANATOR MITHIKA LINTURI SET FREE

Chief Magistrate Edna Nyaloti has ordered the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) to terminate the inquiry into claims of incitement leveled against Meru Senator Mithika Linturi.

The ODPP filed a case  , acusing the  Meru Sanator of making inciting remarks in a political rally in eldoret , a rally that was held  by the Deputy president led party UDA

Mr Linturi’s incitement case had been referred to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), which had asked more time to investigate.

Furthermore, Chief Magistrate Edna Nyaloti refused the detectives’ miscellaneous appeal to investigate the Senator for inciting.
Another incitement complaint against a sitting Member of Parliament has been dismissed by the Nakuru Law Court.

Speaking monday morning after being set free in Nakuru , Linturi warned the ODPP  not to be used to targrt people politically , saying they should be punished for tarnishing his name
