Man Arrested In Homa Bay For Attempting To Defile A Grade One Student

A 32-year-old man has been detained in Rabuor village, Ndhiwa, Homa Bay County, for trying to defile a Grade One student.
On Wednesday night, the suspect’s wife saw him trying to violate their 9-year-old daughter in their marital bed.
In the words of Kajwang’s assistant chief, Enos Nyawade: “When she went to obtain water from a water pan near to his residence, the suspect enticed her into his house.”
After calling the child from her water pan and asking her to bring a tray inside the home, the suspect locked her inside and put her to bed, Nyawade said.
As soon as the suspect’s wife got home, she heard the girl’s calls for assistance and had no choice but to break into the house to save her.
A police officer from Kobodo station was alerted by the wife’s screams, according to Nyawade.
While awaiting arraignment, the suspect is now being held at the Ndhiwa police station.
