An Accident That Killed Five Members of the Family Left Two Children Stranded When Uncle Takes Over Home

Ronald Bundi and his family were buried in Kisii two weeks after their death in an accident on Christmas Day of last year, but two of their children remain hospitalized at Coast General Hospital in Mombasa despite being discharged.
After the late Veronicah Bundi’s brother allegedly locked the house in an alleged dispute over the ownership of his properties, the two children aged 3 and 10 are unable to access their home, according to the late Bundi’s sisters.
They were laid to rest on January 7, 2022; but for the two children who were still being treated for injuries, this was just the beginning of a series of difficulties triggered by their parents’ property scramble.
Harriet Gesare, sister to Veronicah, said: “Watoto walikuwa discharged tangu last week, lakini pahali tunaenda ndio hatujui kama mlango ulifungwa na ndugu za kina Baba… It’s possible to get into the system by accessing nyumba ni Kazi, but you can’t get into the system by accessing Nguo Zenye Mtoto Hatuwezi.”
They claim that Dennis Nyamweno, the late Bundi’s elder brother, took control of the deceased’s properties after the burial, drawing the attention of the church, Bundi’s neighbors, and Bundi’s friends who are demanding justice.
One of my neighbors, Giggs Mudemba, said: “Hajapokea simu…
Ni nani anawapigia simu, wanachagua wale wanaeza ongea nao.”
The late Bundi’s close friend Dennis Monare said: “Vile tunaona, ni kama hawa family wanazozana. If you want to know what it’s like to be an affluent person in the world, you have to know what it’s like to be poor in the world, and you have to know what it’s like to be poor in this world, and you have to know what it’s like to be poor in this world.”
Dennis Nyambweno said that he has the keys to the late Bundi’s residence and that he and two of his siblings had been living there.
On the contrary, he denied that he had neglected the two kids.
When I was young, I thought, ‘I’ll never forget this.’ But now that I’m older, I realize that I’ll never forget it.”
Denise: “Its time for us to get out of here, it’s time for us to get out of here.
“Mimi naweza kosa kujua watoto wanafaa kurudi alafu jirani ajue ndio aanze kuniuliza? It was Mimi who said, “Niko funguo mabrother, wawili wawili wawili wanala hapo” when she saw the baby’s father.
