Brilliant Rashford Sends Man U to Top 4 after Scoring in virtually the last minute

A goalless draw against West Ham appeared a certain conclusion, but Fred’s second-half shot was saved by Alphonse Areola to keep the Hammers in the game.
When there were three minutes left in injury time, United broke and Edinson Cavani held his pace to keep onside as he collected Anthony Martial’s short ball and rolled a cross to the far post, where Rashford converted it. The play featured all three replacements.
The Hammers were dealt a hard blow by the outcome. With four minutes left, Jarrod Bowen’s shot hit the side-netting and Tomas Soucek’s glancing header missed the target.
Rashford, though, had the last word as United achieved back-to-back victories for the first time under Ralf Rangnick with a 2-1 victory against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
There’s always a chance that Tottenham and Arsenal might leapfrog United if they win on Sunday, but United is back in the top four for the first time in three months.
