BBI Bill passes the constitutional threshold of at least 24 counties

The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill will now head to the National Assembly and Senate after 29 counties so far have passed the bill. On Tuesday the bill hit the 24 counties mark as it is the requirement by law.
Raila over the weekend expressed his confidence that Tuesday will be super because the bill will have hit the 24 counties mark.
Kakamega, Narok, Makueni, Nyamira, Taita Taveta, Kitui, Bungoma, Murang’a, Machakos, Nyeri, Nyandarua, Kirinyaga, Garissa and Lamu are some of the counties that passed the bill today.
