TOM OSINDE FOUND DEAD IN RIVER KUJA

The body of former Treasury officer Tom Fred Mokaya Osinde who went missing last week has been found in River Kuja early on Thursday, 29th June 2023.

This comes after two workers at Osinde’s home in Ngata, Nakuru County were arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Wednesday, 28th.

“We arrested two workers after an interrogation and they are held at Menengai Police Station to further aid in the investigation,” said Rongai sub county criminal investigation officer, Donatta Atieno.

At the same time, the investigations were carried out at the home that sits on a ten acre farm.

“We carried out a thorough search on a ten acres farm where Osinde resides, which is part of the probe into the disappearance of the ex-treasury official,” added MS Atieno.

The body was positively identified by the family members and taken to Migori Referral Hospital mortuary, where a post-mortem is expected later today.
