Ruto Celebrates Closest Rival; Raila’s 77th Birthday

Opposition Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga celebrated his 77th birthday on Friday with a slew of events organized by his supporters across the country.
Notably, Deputy President William Ruto, his main rival in the White House, has joined in the celebration of the man widely regarded as Kenya’s father of democracy.
For his birthday, Ruto sent a message to Kenya’s former Prime Minister wishing him many more years of happiness.
Raila has also been celebrated by elected leaders from across the political divides, with a majority of them sharing the messages on social media.
