Police in Keroka launch manhunt for a man who strangled 7-month old baby

A 7-month old child has been strangled to death by unknown killer in Keroka, Kitutu Masaba constituency Nyamira county.
According to sources the child was in the company of his 9-year-old brother while taking an afternoon siesta when stranger rushed in held them incommunicado.
Their mother who runs a saloon just near Keroka police station was in her place of work when the incident occured.
The nine year old brother managed to escape and screamed to alert the neighbors who turned only to find the killer had escaped.
Keroka police officers who turned up could not immediately establish the cause for the brutal killing.
The officers have launched investigations for the same as the killer remains at large.
