Kenyans pay Tribute to cop who died during Madaraka Day celebrations.

Police constable Hassan Moyo, collapsed minutes after participating in the parade march in Wajir Stadium on Monday 1st of June during Madaraka Day celebrations.
It is reported that he was immediately rushed to Wajir County Hospital but was pronounced dead an hour later.
Assessment conducted by medics indicate that Moyo died of a heart attack.
Officials said further administrative and medical procedures are expected to follow, including formal post-mortem documentation as per protocol.
Citizens, politicians, fellow officers across the country have mourned him and sent condolences to his family in heartfelt posts.
Sammy Ondimu Ngare, a Nakuru-based police officer expressed sympathies over the sudden passing of constable Moyo: “Today, we have lost a dedicated officer, a colleague, and a friend. His commitment to duty and service to our nation will always be remembered. On behalf of myself and my fellow officers, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those affected by this painful loss. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time,” Ondimu said.
Fatuma Masito, Kwale woman representative where Moyo hails from, eulogised Moyo as a dedicated police officer who served the country to his last breath.
“In this difficult time, we are reminded of the words of the Almighty God in the Holy Qur’an: ‘Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un’; “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:156) May Allah grant the late Hassan Moyo a noble resting place in paradise,” Matiso noted.
Moyo was attached to a tactical unit and was among the security officers who participated in the event.
His commitment to duty and service to the nation will always be remembered.
