JOE MUCHERU ON RUTO ATTACK.

ICT cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru as attacked the deputy president William Ruto terming the so-called bottom-up policy as one way of cheating people, mucheru who was attending a youth event of the national council of churches [NCCK] accused the deputy president for misleading the youths with empty promises.

Though Mucheru didn’t mention the deputy by his name he accused the churches for allowing politics to be conducted at the alters of churches by being cheated by fundraising from leaders who are Bible waving

Mucheru also said that the deputy is targeting the youths because he thinks that the youths are easily manipulated, speaking at Limuru when he opened the national youth conference sponsored by the national council churches of Kenya, he asked the churches to expose those leaders who do politics in churches

However, the deputy president who spoke in Naivasha downplayed the attack by saying that criticism is ok

Mucheru said that the government had already put in place many initiatives on the country’s youths, mucheru comments came in the week of new activities following the collapse of BBI whereby he accuses the seven-judge bench for throwing out BBI

Joe’s comments comes a few days after the Kenya conference of catholic bishops led by bishop Martin kivuva  banned all political  campaigns in churches ahead of the 2022 general elections
