why the luyha elders are angry with ruto.

The Luyha council of elders is not happy with the sentiments directed to Eugene Wamalwa the defense CS in his rally in Transnzoia.

“Tell that man to stop going wild, if it wasn’t for me he would be roaming the streets. I am the one who brought him and gave him the ministerial job because I formed Jubilee with President Kenyatta, otherwise he would be nowhere. Who is talking as?” he added, “we don’t slap women”.

Addressing the media conference in Kitale, the council of elders said that Ruto should apologize to the nation and to Wamalwa for diminishing his name and correcting God’s creation which is a lack of respect. “I am asking Ruto not to interfere with what God created. God’s creation is a sacred affair that should not be joked with,” Makoha said.

“I am very bitter because our son, Eugene is not a woman as alleged by Ruto. If he has not been blessed with a child, it does not mean he is a woman; he is a man, should I cry or what should I do?” Siti asked.

David Kabuya a member of the Kikuyu Council of elders wasn’t happy with Rutos utterances too.

“I am joining other elders in condemning what Ruto said about Eugene. Such reckless and demeaning remarks should not have come from a person of stature like that of a Deputy President. How do you mention such words in the presence of children and young girls?” David said. “I want to tell you today, that even I Eugene Wamalwa your son, I almost got slapped by that guy. He told me to get out of his government and hand to me a resignation letter the following day,” he said.

The luyha council of elders led by the Bukusu are mad at him and want an apology from him. Wekesa from the same council said that the Kenya kwanza leader owes Wamalwa an apology for belittling him. He added that he does not know who will vote for him therefore he should take care of his tongue as it’s dangerous as it has been.

Ruto is said to have made the same attempt of slapping Matiang’i the interior cs sometimes back. He however defended himself saying that he only said the fact about Wamalwa but not abuse. The Transnzoia council is still in anger and is yet to speak again.

Wamalwa has been seen in rallies revisiting the same utterances saying that Ruto once issued him a resignation letter in 2018 and therefore knows where the core of the enmity is.
