Two Minors defiled as Rape Cases Become Rampant in Kisii

Two Men from Kiogoro Ward, Kisii County are under police custody after being suspected to have defiled two minors from two different villages.
In the first case, a 70-year old man is said to have raped a 11-year old girl from Boronyi Sub-Location, on the second case, a 37-year Old man sexually abused a 4-year old child in Matunwa Sub-location in Kiogoro Ward, Nyaribari Chache Constituency, Kisii County.
“You are all aware that this is a time schools have closed, so we should work together in taking care of our children so that they don’t enter into a trap which can destruct their education life and even their lives. However, if someone with such intentions of defilement is caught, he should be arrested and judged at the end prosecuted,” Said the Area Chief.
Area residents condemned the acts and asked the government to take action against such suspects.
“I would ask the youths who are of age to marry so that they don’t get that time to defile the very innocent beings,” One of the Residents advised.
The two suspects have been arraigned in court to answer charges against them.
