Sabina Chege grilled by IEBC Over Vote Rigging Remarks She Made at a Rally in Vihiga

The Murang’a Woman Representative, Sabina Chege, has appeared before the IEBC Code of Conduct Enforcement Committee today to respond to comments she made alleging vote fraud in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory in the 2017 election.
Sabina made the commenta at a gathering in Vihiga county, when she was courting supporters to the Azimio la Umoja camp on the 10th of february this year . In the statement , sabina said there was some truth to vote manipulation in the 2017 election and that the same may happen this year.
the woman rep has appeared before the IEBC following a letter sent on Friday, where the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) summoned her over the statements.
In the letter , the commission noted that Sabina violated caluses 6(0) AND 6(1) of the electral code of conductt
Sabina has appeared before the commision in company of lawyers james orengo and otiende amollo in an effort to clear her name
