Petroleum cs John Munyes has resigned to contest for political seat in the upcoming august general elections
Munyes is seeking to be the next governor for Turkana county, he has announced his resignition today after the deadline was set to be on 9th February 2022 for civil servants to step aside from public offices
He has become the second cabinet secretary to resign after the cabinet sectretary of devolution Charles Keter who step aside today morning seeking for governor Kericho county
The Elections Act stipulates that public servants seeking political seats must resign at least six months before the date for the General Elections
