In a move aimed at reinforcing the government’s commitment to enhancing public services, Kisii County Commissioner Tom Anjere paid a visit to the Huduma Center in Kisii on Monday. During his visit, Commissioner Anjere assured the public that the government is dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency of services offered at the center.
Addressing the staff and visitors at Huduma Center, Commissioner Anjere underscored the importance of civil servants being well-prepared to meet the demands of an ever-evolving service landscape. He stated, “With the advent of numerous government initiatives in this county, civil servants at Huduma Center have to be ready to deliver. They must be prepared to put in extended hours and ensure the delivery of top-notch services to the public.”
Commissioner Anjere also stressed the need for transparency in service delivery at Huduma Center. He suggested that under the guidance of the center manager, the government services offered and their associated costs should be prominently displayed for the public to access easily. This transparency, he explained, would empower citizens to make informed decisions regarding the services they require.
This visit reaffirms the government’s commitment to ensuring that the services provided at Huduma Center align with the changing needs of the community, emphasizing transparency, efficiency, and quality in their service delivery efforts.
