KENYANS URGED TO TAKE COVID-19 VACCINATION

In an interview with the media editors on Monday of the 23rd August, President Uhuru, while addressing the nation on  Covid-19 vaccination after the deadline of vaccination deadline put by the Head of Civil servants expires.

The State officers and Civil servants were to be vaccinated before the 23rd of August.

 Many civil servants had flooded in all vaccination centers and public health facilities to get the vaccinations with a hope of beating the deadline. But the President reversed the claim saying;” We are not going to force anybody to be vaccinated, it will be your decision. Whether you want to take it or not”.

However, he went on encouraging many to be open to the vaccination especially those who are in the vulnerable bracket. He went further, assuring Kenyans there is going to be a steady supply of the vaccine, with a target of 10,000,000 people of the vulnerable group being vaccinated hence the full opening of the economy.

Through his speech, he hopes many Kenyans will turn up for the vaccination
