Jimi Wanjigi picks Willis Otieno as his Running Mate

Lawyer Willis Evans Otieno has been appointed as Jimi Wanjigi’s running mate in the August General Election.
When Wanjigi spoke on Tuesday, he indicated that Otieno was an obvious choice since he is a hard-working professional with exceptional morals.
Confident that they would win the August elections, the businessman-cum-politician said he would organize the nation’s 80 percent young population.
“Because I know he’ll take care of us, he was an easy decision. He is a wonderful young guy, a hard-working professional, and a buddy who has always been there for me. He advocates for Kenyans under the age of 40 “Wanjigi chimed in.
“We have the proper leadership package for Kenya,” 39-year-old Otieno said, in his victory speech. “It’s a package that will involve young people in achieving dramatic changes for the people of Kenya.”

As part of his work in Kenya’s political and electoral processes, Otieno has focused on problems of governance. In 2017, he was the chief of staff for Raila Odinga’s presidential campaign.
The current president of Mozambique was also represented by him when he was involved in a political controversy.
He has been described as “enthusiastic about socioeconomic rights and community empowerment” in an online bio of Willis Evans Otieno.
