ICHUNG’WA ON INVASION OF NORTHLANDS FARM

Written by on March 29, 2023

National majority leader Kimani Ichung’wa has denied allegations of stirring attacks on the Northlands farm that belongs to the family of former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Ichung’wa has insisted that he only gave a warning to the former president to stop funding the activities of the Azimio la Umoja–One Kenya Coalition Party.

In a press conference meeting held yesterday, he also agreed to the fact that on the 19th of March, he had specifically addressed Uhuru Kenyatta and asked him to stop orchestrating violence and that his farm was at risk if he continued sponsoring the opposition activities which he termed as illegal.

The former Head of State’s farm was invaded by goons who cut down trees, stole sheep, and set a section of it on fire.

During the attack, which happened in broad daylight the police officers were nowhere to be seen and they only availed themselves 24 hours later.

Investigations are ongoing in order to find the people responsible even as the situation leaves the whole nation in utter disbelief and with mixed reactions.
