When Dennis Itumbi was in the hospital, he claims that anonymous persons harassed him. His attorneys have urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to investigate into the situation.

Njenga Advocates and Adrian Kamotho wrote to the DCI on Thursday, urging them to take action since their client was in a life-threatening situation that may prevent him from making a rapid recovery.

Our client is recovering in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the hospital institution where the DCI agents went to gather, among other things, vague statements, according to the statement.

The fact that our client, a victim of horrible crimes, is being pursued to his hospital bed despite his health and legal rights can’t be justified.” After all, “our client is an innocent, lawful person who has the right to recover without interruption, intrusion or surveillance,” said the letter.

People who claimed power over Itumbi were attempting to coerce him into signing some weird documents, the letter said.

According to the aforementioned authorities, they had received orders from the highest office to halt the medical procedure in order for our client to sign some odd paperwork. “Nothing can be more cruel!” the legal firm wrote.

Adrian Kamotho, the firm’s principal lawyer, and Boniface Magoha, a crucial witness in Itumbi’s case, recorded testimonies at the DCI offices in Kiambu Road.

It was Magoha’s cab that first discovered Itumbi and transported him to the hospital.

Itumbi, the UDA party’s Digital Strategist, was reportedly attacked and kidnapped on Kiambu Road on December 23rd, 2021, and has been hospitalized since.

Itumbi has been accused of being kidnapped by a group of DP Ruto supporters for insulting four government officials.

According to the leaders, Itumbi was forced into a car and tortured by unknown assailants as they drove about Nairobi on Friday, April 24th, according to their joint statement.

His hands and feet were bound with a rope by the criminal squad as they handcuffed him from the back.” During the press conference, Senator Kihika said, “They explained to him why they were detaining him and said that he would be probed by the boss, who he will have to support.”
