BETIKA NA COMMUNITY EMPOWERING YOUTHS ACROSS THE 47 COUNTIES.

Betika a licensed Gaming company has in the recent times emerged to be a key pillar by realizing and supporting Local Talent in our country. The company recently partnered with the Unique Mechanical & Auto Artisans Welfare Society and launched a “Fundi Bingwa Cup” competition in an effort to support and create Opportunities for artisans and craftsmen in the Jua Kali Sector.
Through its initiative Betika Na Community it has Empowered a lot more Youths across the Country by equipping them with Sports Equipments, and a direct Financial Support into their Businesses. In this hard times the initiative created a thought of Supporting the Larger Jua Kali sector involving the Masons,Plumbers,Electricians,Mechanics among many others through Sporting Activities which is Football matches, by providing Uniforms, direct financial support,kits,balls and any other sporting equipments.More of the goodies to be given out are tool boxes,5,000-litre air compressors painting spray guns that will be used to improve the trade of approximately 20,000 artisans from Likoni,Rabai Road,Shimo La Tewa,Baricho,Buruburu and many other Groups. The Tournament will see the top 3 teams bag a whole sum of Kshs.500,000 with the winners getting Ksh.250,000,Kshs 150,000 for the 1st runners up and Ksh 100,000 for the 2nd runners up.
“We believe we can influence positive change among the youth by creating an atmosphere of talents and skills Development. We foresee a long term relationship with jua kali sector to ensure that the artisans are mentored to perfect their skills. “Said Mr.Eric Mwiti the Firm’s Senior Brand Manager.
Mwiti who added that the jua kali sector had transformed into a haven for more young people and the company saw it better to empower them wholly.
The company which has had several tournament since the inception of Betika na Community initiative plans to take the tournaments to all the 47 counties.
The Fundi Bingwa Tournament will be held at Madaraka Stadium at a later date and will see over 16 teams compete for the Cash Prizes.

The team is located in Bonchari, Kisii. It was formed on the essence of empowering the young feminine gender through sports to promote sustainable livelihoods. It has talented youth players from different areas. We are at the forefront of showing the community that females can excel in football. Through sporting activities, they come together, relieve stress, maintain physical fitness, acquire new skills, and gain exposure, which may contribute to enriching the individuals.
We are currently participating in the FKF Bonchari Sub County League. We intend to move to a higher league level, but transportation and officiating fees are hindering us. The team relies on the management’s support since most players are young students from vulnerable families. This has become a significant challenge.
